Somehow, some of my faders mysteriously change their value to minus infinity. This is a disaster. It happens after some combination of using mix or layer buttons.
This is happening to me with faders on upper and lower layers.
Any ideas? TIA
Is it a particular fader(s) that is giving you trouble, or does it occur on every single fader?
Two specific faders 9/15 which have top layer responsibilities that are devastaing. I did a recalibration but did not solve the problem.
That generally points to an issue with the fader hardware itself. If the unit is still under warranty, you would want to reach out to your supplier for more help. If it’s not under warranty, you should still call your supplier, but they may be able to source the replacement fader bank so that you can self install it.
Thanks @sic0048. I think we have a couple months left in the warranty. Next thing is to spend time figuring out what triggers it.
Don’t waste your time trying to troubleshoot it. When the hardware faders begin to fail, they tend to be intermittent. Your supplier may want to troubleshoot it farther, but I would call them immediately to start the process.
