Hardware upgrades for the next generation

What are some hardware upgrades that you would like to see in the next generation consoles compared to the dLive?

From the top of my head:

  • Digital scribble strip for the soft keys
  • Some soft rotaries that aren´t assigned to a channel strip or selected channel
  • More than six characters on the channel scribble strip

Hi!! Would be nice and practical to have separate 2 assignable master faders, to allow better control.

Also, a couple of extra LES colors, to visually identify groups of channels.

A more flat surface with a tiltable display.

32ch interface via USB and on a stick, like on the SQ.

More colors and inverted colors (dark background and colored letters).

Button scribble

HDMI or USB C monitor outs with actually working external touch screen support.

If you’re going for a USB interface anyway, why stop at 32 channels?

It’s a standard number for internal desk interfaces. I’d happily take more. :winking_face_with_tongue:

A screen you can see in daylight!

My top features would be

  • Larger screens and interface similar to the Avantis
  • More RackUltra FX slots
  • Support for OSC
  • Native integration of Waves and immersive audio systems (L-Acoustics L-ISA, d&b Soundscape, etc)

Control network port on the back side of the mix racks as well.

Speaking of which, “enough PoE for an IP8” on the network ports (both surface and MixRack) would be nice.

Native integration of de-feedback and similiar features
