Head amp socket question

How do I make an input strip save head amp info , so I don’t have to save it to a library?

Why does the socket save the head amp info?

Because the socket can be assigned to multiple channels and / or surfaces at once. It is only logical that it is saved with the socket.

and you can assign more than one source to an input channel strip (A,B,C,D) and switch between them to have spare microphones or spare signal sources available

the headamp information contains phantom power, phase reverse, pad and gain
this belongs to the source and not to the channel, since the channel can get sourced from different sockets

for example
a musical production with backup hard disc recording for different sections
