Has anyone had any success creating a wireless solution between the a GLD or iLive console and front-of-house audio rack. What specs are required for a wifi solution? Is it even possible?
For this application wi-fi is strictly under the requirements, so you might want to consider some high level microwave or laser data link. There are few in the market, but cost way too much.

Yeah far too much data to reliably use a cheap solution. Plus unlike the iLive if you lose network traffic you won’t just lose control of the audio you’ll lose the whole lot. Too much to risk for me…
