I would be or would have been a great idea to make the soon to be released Qu SB able to function as remote stage box along the lines of the AB168 or as a stand alone mixer.

Well, since it only has 16inputs then what is the point? Buy a 168. Cheaper. Besides. It’s a mixer with a master clock. Not a slave.

It could be a dual function piece of equipment. If don’t need a remote stage box or for QuPac users not needing more than 16 channels for some events you would have another mixer to go out and make some money with.

QU design does not allow for use as clock slave (at the moment). Have seen no evidence that it ever can/will.
