I have a QU-PAC and using one of the thumb drives that is marked as approved on that spreadsheet. I did a couple of recordings without an issue, but I just recorded a rehearsal and four of the tracks didn’t record. All the other tracks recorded fine. They are all routed correctly. Can anyone recommend what steps I should do to make sure this doesn’t happen? I’m attaching this pic of the file structure because it’s interesting - all the tracks that recorded correctly also put that Dec 31, 1969 date on the files while the four that didn’t record correctly have the date of the recording and are all only 66kb.
As far as I know, it is impossible for these tracks to have been recorded on the QU mixer, as this device does not know recording dates or times.
That is why all the other tracks also display this fictitious computer timestamp.
If you formatted your thump drive correctly before recording and these four tracks show the recording date as their creation or modification date, then you must have (accidentally) added or replaced them during a subsequent process on a PC (?) - whatever you did.
And that likely happened at 9:15 PM.
