In De-Feedback, when I select a Live filter and then fix it, the filter disappears as if it were still in live mode. It would be nice if its stay’s fixed after that.

“De-Feedback” is a third party commercial product unrelated to Allen & Heath. If you are having trouble with that product, I would suggest reaching out to the Alpha Lab’s support team.

On the other hand, if you are having problems with the Feedback Assistant system that is built into the QU5/6/7, this is the place to ask your question. But calling the A&H system “De-Feedback” is incorrect and confusing.

No Alpha Sound’s de feedback is called Ai De-feedback, and don’t have live and fixed options. I’m talking about the one in the mixer!

Other than you are trying to correct me, you are not solving the problem..

Fixed and live filters ‘fight’ for their existence all the time. If a number of fixed filters are set, and the live detection needs one, it may consume another live filter…
Look at pages 61 thru 63. It is well documented, but I had to read it multiple times to understand it.

It doesn’t hurt to make certain we’re on the same page with the FX you’re using.

You state you’re using the filters in Live mode but expect to act like the Fixed. If you’re wanting any of the filters to remain fixed that must be Fixed Filter mode.

You can assign any amount of these 16 filters to be either Live or Fixed. There’s 16 total per instance per mix assignable.
