The entire workflow of arranging layers is not good enough,
No ability to make the channels “jump” if I want to insert a new channel
No ability to copy/paste layers
No ability to assign by channel select
No ability to block select channels that are on the layer already
No option to switch layer position

If the channel is not assigned to a strip, it has no select!
Drag and drop? Or do I misunderstand that?
???
That is a long-term request already.
Basically we only have the drag and drop option to customize the layers.
One of the biggest features that are missed by technicians that are used to work on digico (most of the technicians in my country) is the flexibility of arranging their layers.
the things that I wrote are:
-
An option to assign faders by pressing their select button (if you want to move a fader from bank1-layer1 to bank3-layer1 for example)
-
Block select existing faders on the layer: for example: If I have 6 faders assigned to a layer and I want to move all of them together two faders to the right
-
Inserting new fader to an existing layer will only ‘run over’ the existing faders that’s in its position, will be nice to be able to make them all shift asside, for example If I want to add a HH channel after the snare, instead of drag and dropping each channel on The layer and reposition it, I suggest an option to just put the selected channel in place and have the rest to move automatically to the right
-
Switching layer positions: Not only copy/paste layers, but the ability to switch between the positions of two layers - without deleting one of it
for example I want the faders I have on layer a to be on layer c and vice versa
