Link status of connections on lock screen

Hi all,

Lately I was at a gig and had my desk booted up and locked, before the audio supplier handed me my CAT line connecting my desk to the stage box. In locked mode, there is no way to see if your stage box is connected successfully. You have to unlock your desk to see the icons.

That really frustrated me, because I had to log in, only to find out the connection wasn’t working. I then had to go on stage to fix the problem, so I had to lock it immediately after because I don’t leave my desk behind unlocked.

Very annoying.

Both ports (S-Link on SQ and the one on the stage box) show with the LED’s if it is connected or not.

In that particular situation the “FOH” was very tightly packed, so I had to connect my console, move it forward into a gap without the possibility to reach (or go) around to look at the back. But also when I return to my console when it’s locked, it would be great to see if it’s all still there without opening the dog house.
