Livestream at 96K

Our Livestream SQ7 is linked via SLink to our FOH SQ7 which is running at 96K. Does the Livestream SQ7 need to run at 96K as well or can I run it at 48K?

SQ runs always at 96kHz
only the signals get converted

Why you need to run at 48kHz?

I’m using the SQ7 as an IO to Harrison Mixbus 32C DAW using Waves soundgrid card and at 96K and 32 tracks the DAW seemed to struggle. Upping the buffer to 1024 and adding hardware latency to Mixbus fixed that problem.

you can set the Waves card to 48kHz
that doesn’t affect the SQ internally
The card will convert the sample rate
