Main Left and Right outputs sound different

Hello,

I just purchased the CQ-12 mixer and tested on a PA speaker. I was surprised to find the left main output sounding noisy but the right main output perfect. I tested with various audio cables and with the same speaker but getting the same result. Is my unit defective or is there maybe some setting I need to change?

Did you buy it second-hand, or was it practically brand new and you are the first person to try it out?
Especially if it’s the former: Have you already performed a Factory Reset?

And did you also compare both outputs using the same audio cable on the same speaker?

only one pa speaker?? and on one side it is fine? so assume speaker and cable are ok.

so is one signal being panned hard with clipping?
you can use the other aux outs and headphones - the Listen function can help find where the problem begins..

or are you using mp3 playback without a proper jack adapter.. TRS input isn’t stereo on the mixer! that can lead to funny levels :smiley: we’ve probably all had that at some time!
