I used my QU16 for a year now, and was very happy with the desk. Now I got the chance to sell it and buy the QU24.
It’s a great desk for smaller shows, and I don’t miss many things. If I need DCAs, more sends, more channels … I use my iLive.
But some minor updates especially regarding the matrix would be great.
- I’d like to send a mix of Left and Right to a matrix to get a mono signal.
- It would be great, if it was possible to route the matrix outputs to the AR2412. I rarely use more than 4 or 5 sends, but sometimes I need to send a feed for TV or radio to the stage. Now i got matrix outputs, but if I need them on stage, I still have do do it like before with the QU16 adn use an AUX with all faders up (post fade).
A mono switch for the matrix and a flexible output routing would make the desk even more useful than it is now.
