SQ SQ Troubleshooting

Hi

I have my ME1 connected to a 24/12 via a SQ7
I can see all inputs etc, connected to the 24/12 in the ME1 except channels connected to the SQ via USB input.

has this been tested?

Hi MJPA,

Only output sockets of the SQ can be sent to the ME system. This includes the following:

  • Input direct outputs
  • Mix Outs
  • FX Returns
  • Monitor Outs
  • Any Tie Line outputs (Local, Slink, USB & IO port input sources patching directly to the ME system)

So to route a USB input to the ME system, you would need to either use the Tie Lines or assign the USB source to an input channel and then use the direct output of that channel.

I have the following problem, you can select the USB channels in the ME (I assigned the USB inputs to stereo inputs on the desk). and when you assign these inputs to a group on the ME you can see the group name on the ME display but you can’t access the group to adjust levels etc.
