ME-U & Channel names from QU

Here’s the system layout….
A QU-16 cabled to ME-U via D-snake output directly from the Console.
Then ME-U cabled to ME-1’s

Problem - The ME-U won’t automaticly receive channel names from the QU-16. If I input them manually into the ME-U, the ME-1’s receive them. NO matter what I do, channel names do not appear in the ME-U browser.

However, when ME-1’s are connected directly to the QU-16 (not thru the ME-U) they receive channel names just fine, meaning that the QU is broadcasting them.

All devices have current firmware.

Can anyone enlighten me?

I’m just looking at using this system myself now so watching with interest.

Can you confirm you have the ME-U set to Use Received (All) in the Channel Setup screen of the browser interface? Remember to save settings after any change.
And that the Source Mode in the System Setup screen is NOT set to iLive?

Yes, Confirmed - the Received All box is checked off in the browser and yes I’ve saved it.
The Source Mode is NOT set to iLive.
