Hi,
The mixer comes with wired pedal switch control via RTS phono connector. This is quite limited - just 2 operations.
My personal preference when mixing the band from the stage, whilst performing, would be to have at least Four independent pedal and soft key operations mirroring each other:
- Mute all outputs (panic button)
- Mute all effects
- Mute Long Reverb
- Tap Tempo Long Reverb
(Side topic is also that there is only 3 soft keys)
MIDI capability would open all sorts of customisable control possibilities for different users.
Use of a wireless Bluetooth page turner pedals could be cool and something new/different for a mixer. It is already Bluetooth capable. Another option could be to patch the control from the Bluetooth pedal through the iPad app or a dedicated independent app.
iPad mapping could also be a good option for general MIDI control integration.
