Mix doesn't follow PAFL on IP8

Hey guys,

Picked up my new C1500, IP8 and CDM32 today, amazing system, loving it.

Have noticed a small thing though, when I select the ‘Mix follows PAFL’ function, it will work on the surface, but not on the IP8. As the IP8 only has 2 configurable buttons per channel strip, I thought that would kill two birds with one stone, however it doesn’t seem to work… Is this a bug, or doesn’t work for a reason?

Here’s another weird one, sometimes there is no option in the advanced button programming menu to make a button a ‘mix’ or ‘sel’ control… But then sometimes it is there. Strange. Anyone else having this issue?

Turns out this only happens under the Mixrack IP configuration, when you program it under the ‘surface’ tab sel and mix pop back up…
