as stated in title no matter what i do I cannot scroll and size i/o grid to show all options.
particularly under outputs → mix Out . bottom end of mix outs namely mono Matrix 1 - 6 are not visible. this pertains to mixpad 1.6 app being used on windows pc.
thank you.
I cannot reproduce your problem on several Windows-PCs/-Laptops with different screen resolutions.
Perhaps you are using a rather exotic combination of screen resolution and scaling, which never occurred during testing.
Please tell us the resolution you are using and the scaling in % so that we can test it with these values.
Can you share some screenshots, please?
If you’re happy to, please use the snipping tool and capture your entire display - you can use the redact/edit tools to hide anything you don’t want to share publicly.
It was a scaling problem…set size of text on display to 100% instead of recommended 125% and entire grid is now visible…But app needs to be full screen otherwise still cut off at bottom.
also app text and graphics seem too large. I tried changing fader count on app but makes no difference.
thanks,
Andrew
Thanks!
Can you also share your display resolution too, please?
Everything was default 1920x1080 with size of text being at 125% which needed to be changed to 100% …In my view the app should be optimized for these default settings…although I realize there are alot of 16X10 displays out there.
Oh! I’ve just realised what you’re meaning - you saying you can’t see the entire IO grid. OK, then what you’re observing isn’t unexpected. For example, if you were to select Tie Lines and try and link SLink to IO port you could be dealing with up to 128x128 channels - there’s no way that’ll ever fit in one view, and even if it did it wouldn’t be usable. There will always be scrolling on the IO page - don’t forget that SQ Mixpad is designed primarily for a touchscreen environment so buttons and targets within the app have to be finger sized at smallest.
I use the same parameters on different hardware and it works fine for me without having to go to 100%.
So there seems to be a conflict between MixPad and your Windows device in particular.
Maybe you can check it with another similar device …
