With glasses in the dark I find the red colour almost unusable.
Having a palette of colours like Logic Pro would be very helpful.
This has to be one of the most complained about topics of the sq. Excuse from a&h is that it is “too hard”. It sux that the colour bar is a rainbow selector but the options are not. It sux that they decide what is viewable in sunlight. It sux that they blame the tech….. i am frustrated because i am an engineer who knows how to make this stuff (fpga, lcd dispays, control, processors,…) and has to read the excuses…. Maybe it is to promote an upgrade to avantis or dlive…
Don’t know about Avantis, but dLive has limited scribble strip colours too.
Same selection as SQ if I recall.
So it wouldn’t have anything to do about wanting people to upgrade for this reason.
Just to add: Also Avantis use the same 8 colors.

Physical constraints make this difficult for SQ and dLive.
I hope Avantis can do it.
In particular, I would like the orange color.
