stumbled on this oldie but goodie. My previous console allowed selecting multiple faders by just holding the first select button while selecting more channels. Those channels’ select buttons were lit until you selected a different channel (and it returned to single-channel section.)
I’m posting here and upvoting because it was the BEST feature when you needed to adjust a group of channels that you had a good relative balance of, but not in a DCA situation. E.g. cymbal mics, multi-miced pianos, Snr Top/Bottom channels, group vox, etc. Sometimes you want to do that at the channel faders to drive group processing differently or, like me, you use DCA’s in scenes but Ip’s predominantly are safed. Underrated Feature!
