Multiband question - only 1 channel?

I have a question concerning the Multiband compressor. I have the rear panel set for dual mono, but I don’t see where I can change what input I am controlling on the front panel. I have it set for 2 different inputs in dual mono. but can’t find out how to get to input 2 to change it’s parameters. or is it locked out to only the 1st channel and you are affecting 2 channels??

I understand that the FX units are configured as stereo, in that you have 2 ins, 2 outs and one set of controls that control both channels equally. How that works for dynamics stuff is a good question, given that by definition the processing responds to the program material.
