That answers the question I just posted in the “store and recall” thread then
https://iliveforum.allen-heath.com/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=2384
I’ll get a look at it tonight or tomorrow.

Awesome, that are some great and long wanted improvements!! Thanks to A&H!!
That makes the work in our fixed installation church environment much easier.
The iPad app must be close…
Also note the EQ update…

Nice updates! Cheers A&H!
Looks like a nice update. Will do it after our blizzard passes by here…
One thing I was hoping for was being able to run two sets of MIDI on select and un-select on the soft keys + MIDI commands for re patching IO from stage to Dante and visa versa.
please keep this on the feature request list…
thx, for the update.
Carl.
Excellent

Updated yesterday and have had no issues as of yet. AR2412 with AR84 expander.
Thanks for the response.

Chris
is there any practical guide, for using one over another GEQ type?
or some specific topic on Ilive forum.
Thanks
Massimo
I just stepped through them until I found the one that rang out the wedges with the least amount of cut, didn’t spend much time on it. It’ll be interesting to see why it is if you can find a guide like that. [ ]

New user to the gld and I have a question on this firmware update. Today I updated the firmware but I did not have 2 of my AR devices on during the update. My local ar84 was on but not those on the gld snake.side Do all the boxes receive a firmware update and do I need to do redo it so my AR boxes that were off get a firmware update.
Second service today at church and it went well except for a QOS error during the service on my gld snake side. Did not hear anything, but that has me concerned.
Thanks
Gary
Will it let you “update” the firmware again ( but with the AR connected)?
Chris
I forgot to check, does the talkback switch have a non latching mode?
Chris
My understanding is that all snake modules are automatically updated to the current firmware when an outdated version is recognized. Just turn the snakes on and reboot the GLD and they should update.

Thanks for the info. makes me feel a little better!
All good here!
Yes - the rta on Top of the EQ feature is nice too!
It installs VERY quickly indeed - couldn’t believe how fast it was installed - must have been like about 5 seconds!
Now for the app to come - so I wonder what way the wireless will connect to the desk!
Thanks!

This is correct. The racks are up- (or down-) graded automatically when connected to the GLD. This should take less than 10 seconds per rack.
Cheers

I’m guessing you’ll need to plug in a wireless router to the network port on the back… unless A&H have snuck one in there?
