No Library Presets for Add-on Comp FX (Solved)

SQ5 / Firmware 1.6

This feels a bit fundamental but cannot find a solution.

Have just upgraded to FW1.6, and added OptTronik and Bus Compressor add-ons. I already have Compressor Pack 1 installed and activated.

Every piece of informaion is telling me that adding these to an empty Rack FX slot is achieved by using the Library button - but there are no apparent presets for these units. Further I don’t appear to have a “Factory” preset heading for Compressors at all.

Fx Headings:
Reverbs
Delays
Modulators
Gated Verb
Sub Harmonics
De-Esser
Dynamic EQ
MuktiBand Comp 4
MultiBand Comp 3
Empty Rack

The two new Compressors and main compressor pack are activated in the unit and ticked the Add-Ons screen.

What am I missing here? Is there another way to add these?

Should I have a “Compressor” heading in the FX library?

You’re obviously in the FX units, but compressors, like also gates and EQs, are part of the channel processing and can be loaded there from the respective processing library.
For more information about the different types of libraries, please refer to page 78 of the manual.

It had to be something simple. No need to load them into an FX rack
