No Signal On Any Input

QU-32 with AR2412 24x12 Main Remote Stage Rack has been working fine for a while. Suddenly during rehearsal, stopped getting audio on any channel from local nor from the AR2412. Everything looks normal…not muted…just no input signal on any channel. We did a factory reset…no help. Suggestions?

Have a look in the routing section - perhaps all the channels have somehow been changed so that they’re looking at the USB connection for their inputs?

It’s not where you’d expect to find it in the Routing section.

(Select a channel, press “Processing” then bottom left key under the display becomes “Source”. Hit that then for each channel (or all together), Switch each between Local, dSnake and USB).

Double checked, and all inputs are local. We’re not getting any signal with known working inputs.

Do you see input level on channels in the pre-amp menu?

When you checked and all the inputs were set to local I assume you
were connecting to the inputs on the mixer itself.

No…there is no signal on the input meter on any channel.

…and we’re connected to local inputs. The remote box is disconnected.

Hi Jim,

You can start a ticket support.allen-heath.com if you would like assistance with this, but as you’ve tried a hard reset you may need to select dSnake as the preamp source again.

This is done by selecting an input channel, press the Processing key, then the Fn (Source) key. You can now change the first 24 channels from local to dSnake.

Thanks
Alex

We had to send ours in for repair. We haven’t received the final report yet, but they suspected our input processor was out.
