Options for mix out EQ to include crossover-ish filters

I know it is not an ideal way to do this, but…

If I wanted to use one mix to send to the subwoofer amp, and another mix to go to the mid/high amp, it would be nice to put a steep-slope low pass filter on the former, and a steep slope high pass on the latter.

This is possible on at least one competitive unit, and it actually works pretty well.

…and I’m sure A&H would do a better job of implementing the Butterworth and L/R filters anyway!

Only need to add LPF to PEQ much like the GLD already has.

Somehow I was under the impression that the HPF was only 12db/octave? Don’t they need to be steeper to really work?

Steeper better but we are begging. You know the old saying ‘beggars can’t be choosey’

Or ‘beggars can’t be choosers’, whichever.

Agreed! I’ll take what I can get here.
