We use the PAFL bus to an out to my SMAART rig on another console.
That way you can check the soloed channel for high res eq anomalies and show a waterfall. Works great to pinpoint feedback. When you un-solo, is goes back to the mains.

Are you suggesting this as a new feature (given that you posted in the SQ Feature Suggestions area of the forum), or are you simply posting about how you currently route things with the SQ?
I didn’t find a way to do it on the SQ. I may have missed it.
Yes, the PAFL bus, as well as the optionally adjustable listen bus, can be patched to all possible outputs under ‘I/O - Outputs - Monitor Out’.
OK, I see it, but what is the listen bus? I see mention of it in the ‘manual’, but no real explanation. How is it different from the PAFL bus?
It uses the same signal as PAFL, but has an additional fader that you can set instead of the master fader (or on a soft rotary) and it also offers the possibility of outputting a summed mono signal.
I see the option for a rotary for the listen, but how do you assign a fader?
Not ‘a fader’, i wrote ‘master fader’.
It is described quite well in the Reference Guide on page 103 under ‘Master Fader Mode’.
Ah, so it is.
It’s funny how you can read something, and until you have a context, not get it.
Things are getting very close to exactly how I want it to work.
Thanks again.
