Hello !
there is something strange (for me) i explained :
on channels 7 and 8 linked in stereo i have my machinedrum
Inside my machinedrum i use the pan on differents tracks when i pafl tracks 7 and 8 i can ear what i did with some sound only on the right side etc…(in qu-sb channel 7 and 8 are panned to 0, middle)
But when i listen to the main mix on qu-sb everything is in the middle…
Perhaps i miss something but seems odd to me…
If some one can help i will be happy
Thanks a lot !
You need to pan the channels on the QU SB so they are “stereo”.
Take ch 7 all the way to the left and ch 8 all the way to right.
If you use one the dedicated stereo line input channels ST1 or ST2 then
you do keep the pan at center 0 for a stereo signal.
Thanks a lot Mike i thought it was a simple misunderstanding from me you solved it
cheers !!
Wanted to add that when you do a full stereo link with all options selected
moving the pan control on the odd channel to the left will automatically move the pan control on the even channel to the right.
Will panning the right channel also do that to the left?
Or must you only pan the left channel ?
Will panning the right channel also do that to the left? Or must you only pan the left channel ?
Either way, one will pan the other.
Thanks.
I would have hoped that is the case.
We do not use stereo except as a mix to the livestream.
The panning in stereo and two linked channels become what the manual calls “width” control. This allows you to send stereo instruments to a mono PA system, or narrow the stereo image of an E-drum in a stereo system.
