Possible setup SQ and QU-SB

Hi,

First post and not a user of A&H (yet :-). We are looking to renew our church mixer. Wanted to explore the possibilities to combine SQ and a QU-SB.

Our situation and thoughts: Main local = SQ6 mixer and side local = QU-SB mixer. Our main local hosts main services and at bigger event we open up the wall to the side local. The side local also hosts own events.

  1. Can I send a mix/aux from SQ6 to QU-SB and even consider delay setup for speakers in the side local in relation to main speakers/stage in the main local? Can all speakers be controlled by SQ6?

  2. Can the both the SQ and QU-SB be controlled by the same app in order to reduces thresholds for volontaires with little experience in mixing.

There are several ways of setting up a Qu & an SQ together, including a digital connection so that they can use each other’s inputs & outputs.

However for what you want, a simple analogue feed (or several) to the Qu, and a scene that passes audio that to the speakers would keep things simple for the volunteers.

The Apps are different, though feel similar in many ways. Obviously for the Qu-SB, it needs to be able to control everything, as that’s all you’ve got. For the SQ, it’s currently only capable of controlling some of the features.
