I own an Allen & Heath CQ-12T and, considering the price and compact size, I’m very happy with it overall. However, there is one thing that keeps bothering me: the pre-delay on the Space Reverb.
For vocals, I usually like to have at least around 40 ms of pre-delay, but with the Space Reverb I constantly get the feeling that the pre-delay is effectively set to 0 ms. It seems like the reverb starts immediately and sits right on top of the dry signal.
Do any of you feel the same way? Is there perhaps a way to adjust the pre-delay that I’ve overlooked? Or is this simply not possible with the current implementation, even through a firmware update or some kind of workaround?
