Qu-24 usb record post fader

I cannot quite find the information easily from the manual or anywhere else, so can someone answer me if you can route the usb audio to daw the way that you could record the audio stream per channel post fader, including fx etc?

I would like to multitrack record all you hear directly from the mixer to daw.

Thanks!

Yes you can change the tap point
It’s a global setting, called “Ch/St Source” - It’s in the USB I/O section of the manual (10.15 in the 1.7 manual, which is the one I have to hand)

And yes… this for some circumstances works really well!
Can I ask what software and OS you are using? Mac/PC?

Thanks a lot!

So it seems, in attachment there is that “direct out” option per channel, so that should output the processed post fader audio!

Great, now I just need to start saving…

NZdave, I am using Live (Bitwig also available), but also recording to Qu-drive sounds really tempting. I was planning on using Live for sequencing duties still, but instead of routing all the audio through DAW, I would like to record the mixer output… As little input delay as possible.

And using Macbook Pro.

One more question, I can record only 18 channels to q-drive, but can I select that for example one pair of those channels to be a bus mix or group??? That way I could set for example a drum bus and multrack record everything.

Yep, just keep scrolling through…

Thanks everyone, you’re partly responsible for me to just place an order for Qu-24!

Can I get commission? D’Oh

You must discuss about it with A&H, I guess!
