Qu-5 groups bug?

Found a potential bug on a qu5d, which I haven’t seen mentioned online anywhere.
So all my mixes are set as groups, which was done on a previous show. It seems as though the pick point was set as pre-eq (despite no options to do so, they should be fixed post-fade), my input channel comp was having no effect whatsoever. When I assigned that channel to the LR, you could then hear the comp working (absolutely slamming the threshold and ratio, so there would be no mistake).

Restarting the console didn’t work. I fixed it by setting the mixes to auxes, changing the pick point to post-amm, and then flipping it back to a group. It’s like it was remembering the default aux send point, even though it was assigned as a group?

First time using one so was wracking my brain to see where I could have messed up for quite a while! Long time SQ user so was pretty used to the workflow.

Firmware 1.1.1 r3772

I’ll add that the send was still post-fade, just that the processing on the input channel didn’t seem to have an effect

Hi @RobWLA

This does sound like it could be a bug and I also haven’t seen any other reports of it.

Could you please send it through to us via support.allen-heath.com so we can log and investigate.

Any other information about how and when the mixes were changed to groups and/or any stored show/scene will also help us when trying to reproduce.

Thanks,

Keith.
