QU-5 with Fender Studio Pro EXTERNAL EFFECTS

I have the new Fender Studio Pro and am working with the latest iOS.

I’d like to integrate my external effects (compressor, reverb, etc.) into my DAW.

My effects are routed via MIX-Out 1-12 (QU Mix Outputs to Inputs Effects) and back to individual channels (Effects Outputs to Local Inputs 1-12).

The DAW has a program for “External Effects.” There, I can configure the I/O. All outputs are set to MIX-Out 1-12, and all inputs are set to Local Input 1-12.

I can hear the altered signal and edit the sound.

However, the DAW isn’t processing the signal. Specifically, I don’t hear the altered signal when I publish.

Does anyone have experience with Studio Pro or any idea what might be configured incorrectly?

Thanks

I’ll have to get my specific setup if using Studio One 7 Pro, my version of your DAW. I do have my DAW where it can work with my Qu-5 if I want.

If I were using my DAW and the Qu-5, it was solely for effects, including delay and reverb, but also Master bus Schwabe Digital Gold Clip and Newfangled Elevate Limiter for dynamic control. And in my case, the DAW was specifically only for my Livestream Aux Mix.

I think I have USB 1-2 as in and out, basically send and return. Then I used this as an Insert on my Livestream bus.

I’m not using it because I’m experimenting with Allen and Heath FX bundle as being my delay and reverb for the Livestream. I just don’t have a clipper and limiter. My Studio One 7 was causing crashing issues within itself, probably because the Mac I use updated the OS, or the DAW needs updated. Either way it’s just sitting for now, along with my big stack of FX.

Mine is for a Church Livestream by the way. I’ll note my routing to the DAW and update, but it’s probably going to be Sunday before I’m there at the mixer.
