We have a guest mixer wanting to use the iPad app to mix from the floor but we don’t particularly want him to have the admin password. Is there some way that I’ve missed to allow him to log in with his iPad and not have the admin password?
Thanks
Jeremy
Nope.
You could change the admin password for the evening?
No. We have had issues with guest mixers overwriting scenes, which is why we put a password on Admin and made them mix from Standard. But didn’t realize it would remove their ability to mix from the iPad…which is critical IMO.
Then save a “show” to USB stick and restore it after the event.
QuPad is admin access, always has been (although hasn’t always had scene control)
I suggest to customers to save copies of their important scenes into a high number. 50-75+. Out of sight. That way if you get an overwrite, you can always scroll down and recall the original.
This is what we ended up doing. Thanks for the tip!
