Is anyone using a XLR AES convertor to get 2 channels of USB to feed other equipment like an iPad etc… ?
If so please what are you using.
I’m using an ARX USB-DI and a Palmer USB DI. is that what searching?
Hi there.
No. but thanks
Im wanting to exit from the AES from QU into a convertor unit with USB femal out to feed an iPad in my case. 2 channel USB
Like this but look at the price?
AES [XLR] > USB
? thats weird my post dissapeared?
Just simply from the QU XLR out put AES to USB
I wouldnt mind even if it down sampled to 16 bit…
I can monitor the audio straight out of the iPad
Any other thoughts about using QU XLR AES output into a convertor box to get a 2 track USB feed. Either USB 2 or 3 would be fine… What do others use the AES out for? The alternative is using a small ZED desk to convert an analogue feed to USB from QU… however it creates noise & only 16BIT.
Any comments welcome.
Sorry… misunderstand you
no worries…
I’m surprised no one else has churped in with any other idea or gadget.
Thought I might kick start this again before I go buy a small mixer that only has USB 2 track output.
I mean the price of this unit :
YELLOWTEC PUC2 LITE USB AUDIO CONVERTER AES3 I/O
YELLOWTEC PUC2 LITE USB AUDIO CONVERTER AES3 I/O
is over the top for me.
Anybody else used a different convertor box ?
AES [main AES output from QU32 FOH 2 track output] to USB output?
Thanks for looking
