Having Qu Drive track info display available on the Qu Pad App would be very handy when needing to cue up a specific track remotely. I can deal with setting up soft keys for Qu drive control.

I’d suggest that the 1.9 update might make you happy - the QU SB will be a major driver for the QuPad application.

When is 1.9 being released?

Possibly some time in May - but it’s not been officially announced yet.

Are there any other new features to be excited about in 1.9?

Will this be a full board firmware update and a Qu Pad update or just one or the other.

Question 1 : Will the Qu-Pad update be available on all Qu models (I own a qu-16) ?

Question 2 : Maybe I’ll send my qu-16 to a friend and buy the Qu-Sb when it’s delivered.
In this case, could the qu-16 feed the additional 16 ins of the Qu-Sb (via Usb, and gain set on the qu-16, no remote I suppose) ?
Same question if we both own a Qu-Sb, can we set one of them as “slave” of the other when 32 ins are needed ?

I’m pretty sure 1.9 will be for all desks.

It is not possible to link 2 QU desks to get extra inputs.

It’s never possible to join QU desks, they are clock masters.

Releases have always been for all desks together. The pad and desk have to upgrade in step…
