Can anyone tell me how to create a mono feed for the main Left right outputs, I have done this with the QU32 using the AR2412 but not sure how to do it with the QU16 without a digital snake head
Unless there is some hidden feature to do it then I think you will need something like this:
which is not that hard to build.
or you could get the Radial mix 2-1 device:
I suspect other people sell similar ones too.
Do not use a reverse Y connector to try to directly join the outputs.
If all you want is mono out then just hard pan, all original external inputs, to L and use the L output.
Or do them all with R; your choice which side to get the mono from.
If you want only mono output, don’t pan any of your channels and just use either the R or L output.
If you run in stereo and need a separate mono output, two solutions have been offered above.
When you create a new post, it is a good idea for your title to reflect the specific topic of your question or comment.
Use Alt out set at L&R instead of LR - you can use either outputs or both and they will be mono. No panning necessary.
