Recording Mute Groups to DAW

Hi friends, I have a Qu-24 that’s ideal for my setup at home.

I created a mute group for a drum machine that uses 8 channels, and like to use it while USB-streaming recording to DAW. In I/O Patch > USB Audio I have the CH/ST Source to Direct Outs so that it captures processing, faders, and mutes… but when I mute with my mute-group that isn’t reflected in the recorded audio.

Is there a way to do this?
