Just wondering if anyone has tried running their router with the security encryption turned off and going with just a hidden SSID, static IP’s and limiting the max number of router connections and maybe MAC filtering.
At this time I have my router limited to five connections and use a static IP on the QuPac. I keep going back and forth with broadcasting the SSID and hiding it, I have not been able to tell any real difference either way.
Upgrading my router, going with a static IP on the QuPac and connection to the 5ghz has greatly improved my connectivity but I will still get a random disconnect at times.
