Safe modes for scenes for CQ

Currently when saving scenes in CQ-20B, the main buss is no able to be excluded from the scene. That means that if the mains I.E. 31 band EQ has been set for the current venue and then a scene recall is made, the current venue main EQ output setting is reverted to the saved scene. This destroys the use of a scene for use in multiple or various venues. The main fader would need to ignore the mixer scene update to resetting the main venue setting. Other mixers have “safe” modes to allow locking channel parameters, fx, etc from a scene save. Scene saving for use in venues as it exists now can be practically implemented. I think we could all use some votes on this!

I’ve used my CQ at a festival with multiple acts, and a scene safe would have been grand. It would have made things a lot easier with changeovers while MC or BGM playing. End of the day, wasn’t a show stopper, more of a “nice to have”.

Please include safe channels for scenes ASAP.

Not having the ability to stop a scene overwriting all channels is a major issue when trying to run multiple bands over an event after an initial sound check. When things like main output / background music channel / monitor fbq and levels may have been changed to suit the venue as it fill up and are overwritten when you bring in the next bands saved scene from sound check.
