Would it be possible to send out a MIDI Message when the CH SEL button on the SQ is pressed?
On the other hand, I would like the CH SEL to work when the corresponding MIDI Message is received.
This would allow for intuitive operation when using Waves SuperRack.
I second this one, I’m quite regularly using MIDI controllers to control the SQ, mostly with some intelligent tool like Bome MIDI Translator in between, and having the option to know which channel is currently selected and be able to select one would be very useful.
Just to note, sending a message on channel selection might be possible, and similar in some way to the ‘follow unit channel select’ feature in SQ-MixPad.
Selecting a channel based on an incoming MIDI message may not be possible however, due to the many corner cases and potential problems. e.g. what if that channel is not assigned to a channel strip?
