Send Level Soft rotary LEDs match colour of assigned channel

It would be a nice QOL feature to make the colours of the soft rotary LED and on-screen display (When in “Send Levels” view) match the colours of the channels they are assigned to.

(Edited to clarify that I meant in ‘send level’ view)

The color code is function dependant. I don’t want to miss that. That is very handy.

The knobs LED aren’t colour locked so it won’t make any difference to the colours of the other functions So when you choose gate of compressor, they already change to the function colours compared to when you select ‘send levels’

I’m talking about matching channels when they are set to ‘send levels’ not ‘gate or compressor,’

See images of the same knobs changing colour based on sends vs compressors

The aux sends are color coded too.

I realise the knobs are colour coded, but they don’t match the custom colour of the aux they are tied to.
I would like them to match the custom colour that I have used for each aux strip. What’s the point of allowing you to custom colour a strip but not the knob that’s assigned to them???

The LEDs on the knobs above the fader strips already do this colour matching when set to send mode — why have it inconsistent across the board?

Also, those knobs are not locked to just being Aux; they can be set to inputs.

I’m curious, what makes colour-locked rotaries to sends so handy for you?

When you’re in send mode, what do the colours Cyan, Red, and Green represent to you? And when you’re using one of those rotaries and have it assigned to, let’s say, input 36, when you press select on an aux fader strip, what do those colours signify?

It seems like these colours hold some special meaning for you, beyond just what you see in compressor or gate views. I’m really interested in understanding why!
