Urgently needed. We just purchased 2 full DLive systems for our university - lack of wireless integration is a real problem with smaller crews and tight schedules. Having to poke around in WSM isn’t a good solution as it takes the single operator away from the desk.
Voted of course. Urgently needed indeed. This system is becoming the non-touring industry standard slowly and A&H is being way too slow to react to it.
Fix it already please… We had been waiting for way too long. G3/G5 is so outdated.
+1 for me too, I need this very soon
100% I have 12 channels of EWDX, this would be huge
+1, A&H, please bring us support for EW-DX.
This is still urgently needed. This issue is starting to push DLive off the table in install design discussions because so many installs are basing their wireless on EWDX purely for cost… Yamaha DM7 is eating your lunch now, at least from what I am seeing.
This one is most important Guys !! ![]()
Absolutely wild that SLX-D got programmed in before Sennheiser EW-DX.
What did sennheiser do to piss you guys off? lmao.
SLX-D was added as it was a matter of adding new device IDs to the existing control protocol for Shure (and testing of course). The protocol Sennheiser use for EW-DX however is fundamentally different to what we implemented for the 300/500 and 2000 series, and was in the process of changing again as we were developing V2.1. We are in contact with Sennheiser and have the documentation we need, so rest assured EW-DX is high on our list.
Thanks for the explanation. While it might seem trivial, sharing details like this goes a long way with your consumers (at least it did with me). This is an completely understandable and valid reason why the EW-DX hasn’t been included yet IMHO.
This transparency is terrific. Thank you!
I can only applaud to this open post from Nic!
This is that kind of transparency that has been asked for a lot in this forum…
Any update on the DX integration? I’m happy with the integration into the Mixing station app, but having it in dlive would be nicer ![]()
