Hello. I’m new to the forum and the QU-16.
I am trying to send different mixes to in ear monitors while a main mix to powered QSC monitors…
In this case I want more guitar in my in ears whilst our vocalist wants less.
What’s the correct way for doing this?
I’ve created the 2 mixes and ran XLRs from the mix out puts 1 & 2 directly to our Shure transmitters. Strangely the mixes are still the same…?
Apologies in advance if a similar question like this has already been answered.
Thanks.
You press Mix 1. Setup your first mix going to transmitter 1
Then press Mix 2. Setup different mix there. Feed mix one out to second transmitter. That should work.
“Feed mix one out to second transmitter”.
Should that not be mix 2 out to second TX?
You are correct. Bad proof reading.
Mix 2 out to transmitter 2.
I wish this forum would allow infinite editing.
Thanks guys. I had done just that but had my receiver on the wrong channel! slaps forehead Apologies.
I use Mix 5/6, 7/8, and 9/10 stereo XLR out to three Behringer PowerPlay P1 headphone amps (only ones on the market I found that were stereo XLR in) for the three of us at rehearsal.
I usually mix it for the boys from my Qu-Pad app, but they also will tweak “more me” parameters with the Qu-You app.
Pretty nice.
