Currently, when you recall a scene, it comes up instantly. It would be nice to be able to set a gradual fade as well. So if you want the faders to slowly move to their new positions over a period of .7 seconds, or 2.1 seconds, or 5 seconds, it would gradually fade to the next scene.
Another digital board we had allowed you to do this. It was a feature I used frequently.
The lowly Yammahamma 01V has this feature. I used it often too. I miss it. I use a lot of scenes.

+1. an entertainment group i work for has deployed the gld in 3 theatres, and a fader crossfade would be extremely welcome here… some things are just not possible with snapping scenes. feels weird to look back to the 01V96 and miss it…

When I started noting things that were on my 01v at 1/4 the cost and was thinking they should be available at this price level I got blasted by the people who under all circumstances will defend their purchase of the GLD as if these features are not required by any competent operator.
I too do plays as well as live sound. Scene fade as well as individual channel fades per scene make one’s life easy. I would like to see side chain limiting too.
