Shielded cat5 on wireless router?

Should the cable connected the wireless be shielded?

I was not sure if it should be or if there would be any advantage.

My DIR wireless has plastic ports too.

I was thinking about using a linksys POE adapter o power the wireless but the tails are not shielded.

The reason you shield the FOH run mostly has to do with concurrent runs. Often its being run near, or parallel to, an AC power run, or will pass under something that has a lot of power going into it. If you are patching just a few feet to the wireless router it isn’t needed.
