simple question

haha just kidding

is it possible to use the idr 48 midi in to be used as a midi in for a drumsampler (in my case toontracks drummer)

wich i use for my electronic drum

up to now i use my rme as midi input on my laptop but it would be much more convenient straight with the ilive (no need to bring the rme anymore).

i am trying right now with the ipmidi device ( ipMIDI - MIDI over Ethernet port) i send midi from my drummachine into the idr48 midi in and have a other computer with midi ox running to see - but no signal is coming…help highly appreachiated (yes i am sending my midi notes on midi channel 11 to avoid conflicts.

cheers

try spotting what’s going on with midi monitor from snooze…you can spy on midi signals and redirect, might help locate the problem…
