for the next dLive update one could use a new function for the Softkeys:
A direct access to a Dyn8.

SoftKeys Function:
SEL → Dyn8 → Number

+1 Or why not just develop a screen bookmark solution.

+1 for Screen Bookmark (or Macros)! It would be quite handy if I can call a special site on System/External Screen directly. Something like:

  • External: Meters > User2
  • System: IO > Surface > DX5/6
  • System: None > Lock Surface

Also it would be great to configure a Soft Key as a non latching Button. Example: An non latching FX-Mute-Key makes you able to let go only one word to Tap-Delay. To reach this now you have to push the key twice very fast - it makes it difficult to cut the words out.

I would prefer widget area controls for it

the functional extent in the D8 is very big. I cannot imagine how one can transform in the widgets. this can be shown in widgets only very much restrictedly.

If only the Softkeys (not the whole function) can be placed in the widget Area its a powerful addition. 8 Keys per Widget and as an addition you can label them on Screen - in opposite of SoftKeys on the right of Console.
