I would love if the MixPad app on the iPad would allow you to set up layouts per user.
Unless you have, “follow mixer layers” set each instance of MixPad is unique, as it is saved on the pad not the mixer. There is however only one setup per instance saved, as you do not log into the app, but to the mixer. So if each person has their own pad, then it works, but if you are sharing the same pad it is not pissible.
I know, that is why I asked for it as a feature suggestion 
There could be a user login on the ipad.
Pehaps you should ask for that facility on DLive MixPad, then Avantis MixPad and it may eventually work down to SQ, as all versions of MixPad work the same.
I am not being facetious , that is the way A&H works, with things that are common throughout the ranges, it is usual for DLive to get improvements first then Avantis then SQ, finally Qu, CQ is quite different in many ways, as it has many novel, to A&H, functions designed specifically for easy “out of the box” use, which no other range have.
