I have following Setup: and it is URGENT, as I have a gig tonight with 5 musicians using the IEM from the SQ7
SQ7 with some AUX assigned as IEM
On the SQ4YOU App I assigned and Input to ME
If the Fader is fully down and I want to increase my volume, nothing happens, I also see it on the surface/desk on the SQ. I first need to move the fader to 0 db in the SQ4YOU inside the Assignment screen or on the desk. Then the Volume wheel on the start screen of the APP can change the volume
BUT again same issue happens, when the volume is about -10db. From this point on I can increase with the volume wheel only up to 0db but not higher, it just stops there, even if I turn the wheel up and up. BUT if I enter in the APP the assignment screen with double tip on the wheel, on the linear fader on screen I can increase what ever I want.
It seems to me an issue with the volume wheel on the start page of the APP, as the linear faders in the assignment screens are working properly.
Don’t think of the wheel as controlling a single fader, but rather as controlling a “mix” of multiple faders.
If you deliberately set a fader to Inf within this mix, the system assumes you don’t want that channel in the mix.
Consequently, it will remain closed.
A similar thing happens if you set a fader to a low level during setup.
The system then assumes that this will be your target level, which you only want to raise to a limited extent, for example, to avoid feedback during your show.
Therefore, if you want to use the wheel to control the full range of the fader, set the fader to at least 0dB during setup.
