Im thinking about getting an AHM16 for my small venue for guest consoles and speaker processing
I have an SQ5 with 2x DX168 and I’m wondering if I get the slink option cards for both my SQ5 and the AHM 16, will I be able to access the outputs of both DX168s in the AHM 16 to also do stage monitor processing? Thanks!
Yes vert definitely , that is very similar to a setup I assisted with in a church.SQ5, with SLink, AR2412 + AR84 on built in SLink (2 x DX in your case) then AHM16 SLink to SLink. As SLink is 128 x 128 every physical input and output will be available to both mixers, but SQ will always have gain control of expansion boxes.
