SQ5 + DX168 (or any other stage box) and Dante (for recording)

I have an SQ5. -Now I’m thinking about the future, specifically what I may wish to get now and a destination for the future.

Will the SQ5 put DX168 channels on the Dante network? (assume a maximum of 48 channels?) - or if I think i will end up wanting multiple channels and recording with Dante, should I be buying a Dante card and DT168 from the start?

You can patch any channels from the SQ onto the Dante network. The Dante card just appears in the patch screen as another source or destination matrix. Likewise with the DX.
